Wendy Wortman
Emily started her journey in a formal Early Childhood setting many years ago as an assistant Prekindergarten teacher at a Preschool in North Carolina, and from there she knew that this field would be her career. During her time as a Prekindergarten teacher, she earned her Early Childhood Lead Teacher Credentials in addition to her college coursework. Her educational background focuses on Business Administration, as well as Education and Child Development. Before taking on management roles in the Early Childhood field such as Assistant Director, and then Center Director, Emily was a Lead Teacher in almost all age groups including Toddlers, Two and Three-year-old and Prekindergarten children. She also acted as a Team Lead and curriculum support for Preschool classrooms.<br /> She has also contributed works and writing to several national Early Childhood publications. In her free time, Emily enjoys spending time with her large, close-knit family including her two daughters who attend KinderCare, and traveling.
